Our museum collections are stored and displayed in our two house museums, David Conklin Farmhouse and Dr. Daniel Kissam House, while the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building serves as a venue for special exhibits. The society’s archives are located in the newly restored and expanded Huntington Sewing and Trade School building.
Highlights of our extensive museum collection include items of clothing dating back to the 16th century, furnishings, ceramics (including local stoneware), textiles, tools, fine arts, and dolls.
The society’s archives include documents, photographs, publications, maps, and ephemera relating to the social, economic, and personal history of the town.
