250th Family Workshop
Spring Family Workshop! Join us on May 31st as we learn about Dr. Daniel Kissam, a local physician who cared for patients in Huntington during the late 1700s. Together, families will explore medicinal herbs and healing practices of the colonial era. Participants will sample herbal tea, learn how healing poultices were once made and used, stencil their own flowerpot and plant an herb to take home! Light snacks will be served. The cost is $10 per family and includes materials for two flowerpots. Additional flowerpots may be purchased for $5 each. We can’t wait to see you there!
