For the Huntington Historical Society, this time of renewed activity heralds the return of fun, family-oriented events which highlight the lifestyles, arts, crafts, and traditions of historic Huntington. And for nearly 30 years, the Society has kicked off the spring season with its popular “Sheep to Shawl” Festival on the grounds of the Dr. Daniel W. Kissam House Museum property at 434 Park Avenue in Huntington |

Join us for a screening & discussion of I Now Take Up My Pen. This 38 minute short film was written and produced by St. George Living History Productions, a local group that creates films for not-for-profits and historical societies. This film tells the heart wrenching tale of two brothers from Huntington William and Jesse Platt, who served in different NYS Regiments from Long Island. |
