SUMMARY:Felted Flower Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Felting is a user-friendly technique that is simple and fun to learn and create with. We will use wool, a magical fiber with tiny scales that stick together, allowing the user to create intricate patterns.\nSurface textures can be created in the felting process by varying the density of fiber in specific areas, incorporating yarns and non-felting fibers, using resists to create surface planes, embedding other objects, and fusing the wool fibers through pre-structured fabrics.\nFelt as a fabric, is essentially a non-woven material made from loose fibers that have been matted together. In this workshop, students will learn the Wet Felting technique over two hours and take home a beautiful felted flower.\n
