Sheep ShearingAdd streaming video to your website The Festival in 2009 was held on a rainy day, but those sturdy souls, about 600 in all, who braved the weather were treated to Llamas, Angora goats, Sheep shearing and the usual array of craft demonstrations. The Festival was held in the Kissam barn and under cover of various tents. Every one who attended had a great time. In addition to all the usual (and unusual) activities, Huntington Town Council persons Stewart Bessen and Susan Berland were on hand to present Cathi Horowitz, for the Historical Society, with a proclamation honoring her, as organizer of the Festival, and the Society, for providing this Festival for the past 25 years.
