Get in the holiday spirit while supporting a great cause: keeping Huntington’s history alive for future generations! Now in its 13th year, Huntington Historical Society’s Historical Holiday House Tour has become a beloved and anticipated staple of the Town of Huntington’s holiday season.
Each year, tour attendees are welcomed into festively decorated historic homes graciously opened to visitors by Society supporters. Visit the homes in any order and revel in the beauty and holiday cheer while learning about the unique history of each home shared by volunteer docents.
In addition, the Historical Society’s Kissam House, featuring a gorgeous lace exhibit titled Poetry in Thread, and the Conklin House, both decorated for the season, will be open to the visitors. The Conklin Barn will have its usual scrumptious array of refreshments, and the much-loved Antiques and Collectibles Shop on the Kissam property will be open and fully stocked with unique gift options.
Tickets are $35 for HHS members and $40 for non-members. Ticket price increases $5 the day of the tour. Tour map with house locations will be available for pick-up one week prior to the event at the Society’s Trade School building at 209 Main Street. If available remaining tickets will be sold the day of the event at the Conklin Barn, 2 High Street, $40 for members and $45 for non-members.
All proceeds support the Huntington Historical Society’s programs and operations.
