Heritage Crafts Fair
 The
Huntington Historical Society has initiated the Heritage Crafts Fair.
More than thirty Craft Organizations will be
assembling on Saturday, August 21st (rain date Sunday, August 22nd, 10:00
to 5:00) to make their wares available to the
community. The Fair will be held on the lawn of the 1795 Dr. Daniel
W. Kissam House Museum at 434 Park Avenue in Huntington from 10:00 am till 5:00 in
the afternoon. The table below is a listing of the Craft organizations
which will be participating. Below that are photos of some of the items
which will be for sale.
The Kissam House Museum will be open for tours with
an exhibit of late 19th
century party clothes and there will be an exhibit of Historic Huntington
Pottery in the barn. There will be refreshments and some of
the Craft people may be demonstrating their skills. The Museum shop will
also be open for the day.
The entrance fee will be $5.00 and there is a $1.00 discount with the card
available at the bottom of this page. Children under 12 are free.
