Eighty and Active....

.....and thank goodness.  Arthur and his team of carefree genealogists run the Genealogy Workshop for the Huntington Historical Society.  The Workshop, under Arthur's direction, publishes a monthly newsletter (Richard Holiday and Bill Chamberlain) and hosts several genealogy-related lectures each year.  Additionally, Arthur and his wife, Irene,  lead the Society's annual  trip to the Family History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Arthur's creative thinking and years of experience have enabled him to help many people track their family ancestry.

Arthur has been an active member of the Historical Society for many years.  He has been a member of the Board of Trustees and he and his wife Irene volunteer regularly to help with the many activities of the society.  The Huntington Historical Society would not be nearly so vibrant an organization without Arthur Sniffin.

Below are some pictures from his eightieth birthday party at the Society office in the Trade School.   Happy Birthday Arthur!
