Past Exhibit : From House Calls to Hospitals

Samuel Teich was born in Huntington in 1907, went to the Huntington schools, graduating from Huntington High School in 1924. He graduated from Cornell and then from Long Island College of Medicine in 1932, returned to set up practice in his home town of Huntington Station in 1933 and joined the staff of Huntington Hospital. Huntington Hospital, founded in 1915, had just opened their second building in 1933, which is today part of a much larger complex of buildings.
